MEHN Community Guidelines
1). You must not interpret any information given, as medical advice.
2). You must seek advice from your treating physician before making any changes to your lifestyle or prescribed medical treatment.
3). You must not provide medical advice, although you may provide general information and support.
4). You must understand that everybody is different and because of this we have varying capabilities and risk factors, so what worked for you may not be appropriate for them.
5). You must be careful when reading postings as the meaning behind words or sentences can be taken out of context or misinterpreted.
6). You must not post messages that threaten, solicit, offend, harass, embarrass or impersonate any other person.
7). You must not post messages that violate any person's privacy or other rights.
8). You must not make slanderous comments by disclosing the name of doctors, other health professionals or anyone for that matter. If you wish, you can make comments by referring to them in general i.e. “my doctor” or “my colleague”.
9). You must not copy and publish any MEHN content or postings without the express permission of the Administrators. (This excludes reposting another member's comments within the same MEHN forum where those comments must be acknowledged to the original author of the post). You also may not advertise products or services without the express permission of the Administrators.
10). For your own interest do not release personal contact details on the forum as it can and will be viewed by everyone who uses the community. As a result you may be inconvenienced by unwanted contact.
